The company Motorola introduced the new products in a series of Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA): MC55. This is a communicator on the basis of Windows Mobile, targeted for use in adverse conditions, including outdoors.

According to the manufacturer, Motorola MC55 - this cell phone, mobile computer, radio, bar code scanner and camera in one device. In addition, MC55 - this is the smallest and lightweight Motorola Industrial PDA with 3.5-inch display. It can operate at high and low temperatures, high humidity, protected from the ingress of water and dust according to standard IP54. Motorola MC55 can even drop to the concrete floor from a height of more meters. The model proposed in several versions with different structures: with and without the antenna, WWAN support and without it, with a digital or QWERTY-keyboard.
